أعلنت مؤسسة فرصة حياة عن إطلاق سلسلة من القوافل الطبية المتخصصة للتوعية بالأمراض الجينية والنادرة، وذلك في إطار جهودها لنشر الوعي الصحي، وتعزيز الاكتشاف المبكر، ودعم الأطفال والأسر المتأثرة بهذه الأمراض، بالتعاون مع الجهات المعنية بالصحة في مختلف محافظات الجمهورية.
وتضم القوافل نخبة من الأطباء والإستشاريين المتخصصين في الأمراض الجينية والنادرة، حيث تقدم استشارات طبية وفحوصات أولية، إلى جانب تنظيم جلسات توعوية تستهدف الأسر، للتعريف بأهمية التشخيص المبكر للأمراض الجينية والنادرة، وطرق التعامل معها ، بما يسهم في تحسين جودة حياة المرضى ورفع فرص التدخل الطبي والعلاج في الوقت المناسب.
كما يشارك في تنفيذ القوافل عدد من المتطوعين والمنظمين، الذين يتولون تنظيم الفعاليات واستقبال الأسر المستفيدة وتقديم الدعم اللوجستي، بما يضمن تقديم الخدمات الطبية والتوعوية بصورة منظمة والوصول إلى أكبر عدد ممكن من المستفيدين.
وتركز القوافل على الوصول إلى الأسر في محافظات الدلتا وصعيد مصر، في إطار حرص المؤسسة على تعزيز نشر الوعي المجتمعي بالأمراض الجينية والأمراض النادرة ، خاصة في المناطق الأكثر احتياجًا.
