أعلنت لجنة المرأة العربية في جامعة الدول العربية، اليوم الثلاثاء، القدس عاصمة للمرأة العربية لعامي 2025-2026، خلال الدورة الـ44 للجنة.
وقالت وزيرة المرأة منى الخليلي التي ترأست اللجنة، إن إعلان القدس عاصمة للمرأة العربية يأتي تأكيدا على مكانتها في الوجدان العربي، ودعماً لصمود النساء الفلسطينيات في مواجهة الاحتلال.
وأعربت، عن شكرها لوزيرة التنمية الاجتماعية في سلطنة عُمان ليلى بنت أحمد النجار على جهودها خلال فترة رئاستها للجنة المرأة العربية، وأشادت بقيادة السفيرة هيفاء أبو غزالة، مؤكدة التزام دولة فلسطين، بصفتها رئيسة الدورة الحالية، بتنفيذ برنامج العمل المشترك، وأشارت إلى أن انعقاد الدورة يأتي في ظل أحداث وتفاعلات سياسية واقتصادية وإملاءات خارجية تعصف بالمنطقة العربية، ما يستدعي التماسك والتضامن لمواجهة هذه التحديات.
وأشارت الخليلي، إلى معاناة المرأة الفلسطينية جراء جرائم الاحتلال الإسرائيلي وأعماله العدائية، وحرب الإبادة الجماعية التي تستهدف قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية بما فيها القدس، مستعرضة الدمار والتشريد والخسائر الفادحة في الأرواح والممتلكات، واصفة الوضع الإنساني في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة بالكارثي، حيث يعاني السكان الفقر المدقع وأزمة الجوع، ويواجهون قيوداً شديدة على الوصول إلى الخدمات الأساسية، بالإضافة إلى تفاقم العنف والنزوح القسري وتدهور الأوضاع الصحية والنفسية.
وأكدت، أنه على الرغم من هذه المعاناة، فإن الأمل والإرادة هما أقوى أدوات الشعب الفلسطيني في مواجهة التحديات والتمسك بحق تقرير المصير في دولة كاملة السيادة وعاصمتها القدس، وجددت التزام دولة فلسطين بأهداف التنمية المستدامة وأجندة المرأة والسلام والأمن.
ودعت الخليلي، إلى استمرار وقف إطلاق النار وضمان تدفق المساعدات الإنسانية، وأهمية الدفاع عن سيادة القانون الدولي وقرارات الشرعية الدولية، مضيفة أنه لا تنمية ولا أمن ولا استقرار دون تجسيد الدولة الفلسطينية المستقلة وعاصمتها القدس، وإنهاء الاحتلال وفقاً لفتوى محكمة العدل الدولية وقرار الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة.
