على هامش اجتماعات المؤتمر الوزاري الروسي-الأفريقي، التقى د. بدر عبد العاطي، وزير الخارجية والهجرة وشئون المصريين بالخارج، يوم السبت الموافق ٢٠ ديسمبر ٢٠٢٥، السيد جورج شابوندا، وزير خارجية جمهورية مالاوي، حيث تناول اللقاء سبل دعم وتعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين والتنسيق إزاء القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
قدم الوزير عبد العاطي التهنئة لنظيره المالاوي بمناسبة توليه مهام منصبه في نهاية أكتوبر ٢٠٢٥، مؤكداً الحرص على تعزيز التعاون مع الحكومة المالاوية الجديدة في تنفيذ خططها ومشروعاتها التنموية بما يسهم في التعامل مع التحديات التي تواجهها مالاوي، مشيراً إلى أهمية عقد جولة المشاورات السياسية بين البلدين في أقرب وقت، بما يمهد لانعقاد الجولة الأولى للجنة العليا المشتركة، مؤكداً الحرص على دعم العملية التنموية في مالاوي، ليس فقط من خلال برامج بناء القدرات وتنظيم الدورات التدريبية في مختلف المجالات، وإنما أيضاً عبر تشجيع القطاع الخاص المصري على الاضطلاع بدور أكبر في السوق المالاوية.
كما أكد وزير الخارجية أهمية مشاركة الشركات المصرية في تنفيذ المشروعات التنموية، والاستفادة من الخبرات المصرية في مجالات الطاقة الجديدة والمتجددة والبنية التحتية، مع بحث ترتيب زيارة لوفد من شركات القطاعين العام والخاص لاستكشاف الفرص المتاحة في مالاوي، لاسيما في مجالات إنشاء البنية التحتية والسدود الكهرومائية، مرحباً بطلب الجانب المالاوي الاستفادة من الخبرات المصرية في مجال الري المنتظم وأساليب الزراعة الحديثة، وكذلك في مجال الأسمدة، مؤكداً الاهتمام بالعمل المشترك لإتاحة المنتجات الدوائية والصحية المصرية ذات الجودة العالية والأسعار التنافسية في مالاوي، إلى جانب طرح إمكانات مصر في مجال السياحة العلاجية.
كما أشار الوزير عبد العاطي إلى أهمية تعزيز التعاون في مجال التعدين، في ضوء فتح مالاوي باب الاستثمار الأجنبي في هذا القطاع، مشدداً على أهمية تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري بين البلدين، خاصة في قطاعات الأسمدة والزراعة والري، وزيادة حجم التبادل التجاري من خلال دراسة إمكانية مبادلة الأسمدة المصرية بسلع مالاوية.
وأكد وزير الخارجية أهمية بحث إقامة خط طيران مباشر بين القاهرة وليلونجوي، وإمكانية مشاركة الشركات المصرية في جهود إعادة تأهيل مطار كاموزو الدولي بالعاصمة ليلونجوي، فضلاً عن أهمية البناء على نجاح انعقاد الاجتماعين الأول والثاني للجنة العسكرية المشتركة بين الجانبين، ومواصلة دور الوكالة المصرية للشراكة من أجل التنمية في دعم وبناء وصقل قدرات الكوادر المالاوية في مختلف المجالات.
وفيما يتعلق بالتعاون الإقليمي ومتعدد الأطراف، شدد وزير الخارجية على أهمية التنسيق والتشاور المشترك إزاء القضايا الأفريقية المختلفة، ولاسيما ملف الإصلاح المؤسسي لأجهزة الاتحاد الأفريقي، باعتباره ركيزة أساسية لتطوير كفاءة عمل تلك الأجهزة وتمكينها من الاضطلاع بمهامها على النحو الأمثل، مؤكدا ضرورة أن تتم عملية الإصلاح بصورة منهجية وتدريجية وواضحة، وعلى أساس من الشمولية ومشاركة جميع الدول الأعضاء. كما تبادل الوزيران الرؤى حول سبل إرساء الاستقرار والسلم والأمن في القارة الأفريقية.
