تم خلال الاجتماع استعراض الملفات ذات الأولوية المرتبطة بتحقيق النمو الاقتصادي، ورفع كفاءة التنافسية للاقتصاد المصري، إلى جانب بحث آليات مبتكرة لزيادة مشاركة القطاع الخاص في المشروعات التنموية، وحضر اللقاء قيادات كل من وزارة التخطيط والتنمية الاقتصادية وجهاز مستقبل مصر للتنمية المستدامة.
أعرب الدكتور أحمد رستم عن تقديره البالغ للدور المحوري الذي يضطلع به جهاز مستقبل مصر في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني، مشيراً إلى أن المرحلة الراهنة تتطلب تكاتف كافة الجهود الوطنية لمواجهة التحديات الناتجة عن التوترات الجيوسياسية العالمية.
وأوضح وزير التخطيط والتنمية الاقتصادية أن الاضطرابات التي تشهدها أسواق الطاقة وسلاسل الإمداد العالمية، تفرض على مصر ضرورة استغلال الفرص المتاحة لتعظيم الإنتاج المحلي وتنمية القطاعات الحيوية لضمان استدامة تلبية احتياجات السوق.
