وأوضح واصف، في التقرير الأسبوعي لشعبة الذهب والمعادن الثمينة، أن سعر أوقية الذهب ارتفع من 4330 دولارا في 1 يناير 2026 إلى نحو 4510 دولارات في 11 يناير 2026، محققا زيادة قدرها 180 دولارا للأوقية، وهو ما يمثل ارتفاع بنسبة تقارب 4.16% خلال 11 يوما فقط.
وأشار رئيس شعبة الذهب إلى أن من أبرز أسباب هذا الارتفاع هو صدور تقرير الوظائف الأمريكي الذي أظهر إضافة وظائف أقل من المتوقع خلال الفترة الأخيرة، ما عزز توقعات السوق بخفض أسعار الفائدة في الولايات المتحدة خلال 2026.
وأضاف أن هذا العامل يعتبر ايجابيا للذهب، إذ يزيد من جاذبيته كملاذ آمن ويحفز المستثمرين على التوجه نحو المعدن النفيس لحماية أصولهم في ظل توقعات بتباطؤ النمو الاقتصادي الأمريكي.
كما أضاف واصف، أن هذا الصعود العالمي انعكس بشكل مباشر على السوق المحلي في مصر، حيث ارتفع سعر جرام الذهب عيار 21 – الأكثر تداولا – من 5865 جنيها إلى نحو 6020 جنيها خلال نفس الفترة، مسجلاً زيادة قدرها 155 جنيها للجرام بنسبة نمو بلغت نحو 2.64%.
وأكد واصف أن وتيرة الارتفاع الحالية تعكس حالة من الحذر لدى المستثمرين والأفراد، مع تزايد الاتجاه نحو الذهب كأداة للتحوط وحفظ القيمة، لافتا إلى أن استمرار العوامل الداعمة عالميا قد يدفع الأسعار لمستويات أعلى خلال الفترة المقبلة، سواء على المستوى العالمي أو المحلي.
أكد رئيس شعبة الذهب أن السوق المصري مرتبط بشكل وثيق بالتغيرات العالمية، مشددًا على أهمية متابعة تطورات السياسة النقدية الدولية وأداء الدولار، باعتبارها عوامل حاسمة في تحديد مسار أسعار الذهب خلال المرحلة المقبلة.
