زفّ اللواء طارق راشد، محافظ سوهاج، بشرى سارة لطلاب الشهادة الإعدادية وأولياء أمورهم، بإقرار خفض الحد الأدنى للقبول بالصف الأول الثانوي العام إلى 255 درجة بدلًا من 260 درجة، وذلك عقب دراسة الموقف والتنسيق مع السيد محمد عبد اللطيف، وزير التربية والتعليم والتعليم الفني، استجابةً للمطالب المتزايدة من أبناء المحافظة.
وأكد المحافظ أن القرار يعكس حرص الدولة على مراعاة الظروف الاجتماعية للأسر، وإتاحة فرص تعليمية عادلة أمام الطلاب، بما يحقق التوازن بين الكثافات الطلابية داخل المدارس ورغبات الطلاب في الالتحاق بالتعليم الثانوي العام.
وأوضح أن المحافظة وجهت مديرية التربية والتعليم بسرعة تنفيذ القرار، مع استمرار العمل بنظام الخدمات بنسبة 25% من إجمالي المقبولين بكل إدارة تعليمية، فضلًا عن إتاحة القبول بنظام المنازل للحاصلين على 140 درجة فأكثر بجميع الإدارات.
وفي السياق ذاته، أكد الدكتور محمد السيد، وكيل وزارة التربية والتعليم بسوهاج، أن تنسيق الثانوية العامة سيتم على عدة مراحل، موضحًا أن الحد الأدنى للقبول سيشهد انخفاضًا تدريجيًا خلال المراحل التالية وفقًا للأماكن المتاحة والكثافات الفعلية داخل المدارس، بما يضمن تحقيق العدالة بين جميع الإدارات التعليمية والحفاظ على حقوق الطلاب.
