أطلقت وزارة الزراعة واستصلاح الأراضي، المرحلة الميدانية الأولى للحملة القومية لتعقيم وتحصين الكلاب الحرة، بالشوارع والميادين، وذلك بمنطقة عين شمس، بمحافظة القاهرة، وذلك تفعيلاً للاستراتيجية الوطنية “مصر خالية من السعار 2030″، في خطوة استراتيجية تعكس تحولاً نوعياً في ملف التعامل مع ملف الحيوانات الضالة،
تأتي هذه الحملة تنفيذًا لتوجيهات السيد علاء فاروق، وزير الزراعة واستصلاح الأراضي، لتبني حلول علمية ومستدامة تضمن أمن المواطن وسلامة البيئة في آن واحد.
وجاء اختيار منطقة عين شمس كنقطة انطلاق للحملة، بإعتبارها من أكثر المناطق التي وردت منها شكاوى متعلقة بهذا الأمر، وذلك بهدف التدخل المبكر للحد من الظاهرة وتقليل المخاطر الصحية، المرتبطة بها.
ومن جهته قال علاء فاروق وزير الزراعة واستصلاح الأراضي، أن الدولة انتقلت بهذه الحملة، من مرحلة “إدارة الأزمات” إلى مرحلة “الحلول الجذرية” عبر منهجية عالمية، كما تمثل أيضا نموذجا هاما للتعاون والتنسيق المشترك، حيث تُنفذ الحملة تحت إشراف الهيئة العامة للخدمات البيطرية وبالتعاون مع الاتحاد النوعي لجمعيات الرفق بالحيوان (المشهر برقم 1242 لسنة 2025)، بما يجسد تلاحم مؤسسات الدولة مع المجتمع المدني لتطبيق معايير الرفق بالحيوان الدولية.
وأكد فاروق أن هذه المرحلة هي مجرد حجر الزاوية، حيث سيتم تعميم التجربة تباعاً في كافة محافظات الجمهورية وفق جدول زمني محدد، وصولاً لهدف “مصر خالية من السعار” بحلول عام 2030.
وكشفت الهيئة العامة للخدمات البيطرية، عن نجاح الفرق الميدانية، والتي تم تنسيقها من خلال الادارة العامه للرفق بالحيوان والتراخيص في الهيئة، حيث حققت في يومها الأول معدلات إنجاز ملموسة، شملت: تحصين 293 كلباً حراً ضد مرض السعار، فضلا عن نقل 25 كلباً إلى مقرات “الشلاتر” التابعة للاتحاد النوعي لجمعيات الرفق بالحيوان لإجراء عمليات التعقيم الجراحي، تمهيداً لإعادة إطلاقها في بيئتها الأصلية لضمان التوازن البيئي ومنع دخول حيوانات غير محصنة للمنطقة.
وعلى هامش فعاليات الحملة، أطلقت الإدارة العامة للإرشاد البيطري بالهيئة، حملة توعية ميدانية مكثفة لسكان المنطقة، استهدفت تصحيح المفاهيم حول طرق التعامل الآمن مع الكلاب الحرة، وكيفية الوقاية من الأمراض المشتركة، بما يضمن خلق بيئة متعايشة وآمنة.
