جرى اتصال هاتفي بين د. بدر عبد العاطي وزير الخارجية والهجرة وشئون المصريين بالخارج والسيد رافائيل جروسى المدير العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية يوم الاثنين ١٥ ديسمبر ٢٠٢٥، حيث بحث الجانبان سبل تعزيز التعاون بين مصر والوكالة وتطورات الملف النووي الإيراني.
شدد الوزير عبد العاطي خلال الاتصال الحرص على استمرار التنسيق والتعاون مع الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية، مشيدا بالدور المحوري الذي تضطلع به الوكالة في إطار نظام التحقق بموجب معاهدة منع الانتشار النووي.
كما تناول الاتصال الملف النووي الايراني، حيث أكد الوزير عبد العاطي أهمية مواصلة الجهود الرامية إلى بناء الثقة وتهيئة الظروف اللازمة لاستمرار التعاون بين ايران والوكالة، بما يتيح فرصة حقيقية للتوصل لحلول دبلوماسية واستئناف الحوار والتوصل إلى اتفاق شامل للملف النووي الإيراني يأخذ في الاعتبار مصالح جميع الأطراف، ويسهم في تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي.
