يواصل طلاب جامعة سوهاج الأهلية رسم البسمة على وجوه الأطفال داخل مستشفى سوهاج الجامعي للطوارئ، من خلال مبادرة إنسانية جديدة نظمتها إدارة رعاية الشباب بالجامعة، بمشاركة عدد من الطلاب بمختلف الكليات، حيث حرصوا على زيارة قسم الأطفال والعناية المركزة، لتقديم الدعم النفسي والمعنوي للصغار وأسرهم.
وأشاد الدكتور حسان النعماني رئيس الجامعة بروح العطاء التي يتحلى بها الطلاب وحرصهم على التواجد بجانب الأطفال المرضى داخل المستشفيات الجامعية من خلال مبادرات انسانيه تغرس قيم الرحمة والمسؤولية والانتماء، مؤكدًا أن العمل التطوعي يمثل أحد الركائز الأساسية في استراتيجية الجامعة.
ومن جانبه، أوضح الدكتور حسين عبد الحافظ نائب رئيس الجامعة للشئون الأكاديمية، انه شارك بالزيارة ٤٠ طالب وطالبة، برفقة عدد من أعضاء الجهاز الإداري، مضيفا أن التفاعل المباشر والدعم النفسي للأطفال
المرضى وذويهم كان له أثر إيجابي كبير، و استقبل وفد الجامعة الدكتور محمد حسني نائب مدير مستشفى الطواريء، حسن عبده مدير الشئون المالية والإدارية للمستشفى.
