في إطار جهود وزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية لتنمية إنتاج الزيت الخام وخفض الفاتورة الاستيرادية وتلبية الاحتياجات المحلية، بدأت البئر «بلاعيم البحري 133» إنتاجها من الزيت الخام بمنطقة حقول سيناء، وذلك بعد أن قامت شركة بتروبل الشركة المشتركة بين الهيئة المصرية العامة للبترول وشركة إيني الإيطالية بحفرها ووضعها على خريطة الإنتاج.
وتُعد هذه البئر أولى ثمار برنامج العمل الاستثماري الجديد للشركة الإيطالية بمناطق خليج السويس وسيناء والدلتا، وفقًا للاتفاق الموقّع مع هيئة البترول لضخ استثمارات جديدة في هذه المناطق.
وأظهرت مؤشرات الإنتاج الأولية نتائج مشجعة، إذ بلغ معدل الإنتاج نحو 1500 برميل زيت خام يوميًا، مع وجود فرص واعدة لتحسين معدلات الأداء خلال الفترة المقبلة.
وتعكس هذه النتائج الإمكانات الكبيرة المتبقية بحقل بلاعيم البحري، حيث يتجه جهاز الحفر «ترايدنت 16» المتواجد بالمنطقة إلى حفر بئر جديدة ضمن الخطة، وهي «بلاعيم البحري 131».
وكان المهندس كريم بدوي وزير البترول والثروة المعدنية، قد حرص على متابعة انطلاق أعمال حفر البئر «بلاعيم البحري 133» قبل نهاية العام الماضي بأيام قليلة، وذلك من على متن الحفار المسؤول عن تنفيذ أعمال الحفر.
