وحول الحكمة من عدد الصلوات الخمس وتوقيتها، أوضح أن الإنسان يُغذي جسده بالطعام عدة مرات يوميًا، بينما تحتاج الروح التي خلقها الله إلى غذاء منتظم، فجعل الله الصلوات الخمس مصدرًا يوميًا للسكينة والطمأنينة، يحمي الإنسان من القلق والاضطرابات النفسية.
وشبّه الصلاة بـ«الاستراحة بين الشوطين» في مباريات كرة القدم، أو استراحة المذاكرة، معتبرًا إياها محطات للتوقف والتخفف من أعباء الحياة، ليعود الإنسان بعدها أكثر نشاطًا وهدوءًا، مشيرًا إلى أن هذا العدد من الصلوات هو التوازن المثالي الذي لا يرهق الإنسان ولا يتركه فريسة لضغوط الدنيا.
كما كشف الشيخ عطية عن الارتباط الوثيق بين الصيام والدعاء، مستشهدًا بقوله تعالى: «وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإني قريب»، والتي جاءت في سياق آيات الصيام، موضحًا أن أفضل أوقات الدعاء تكون عند الإفطار، وفي جوف الليل، وما بين الأذان والإقامة.
وفي ختام حديثه، نصح بالحرص على دعاء النبي ﷺ عند الإفطار: «اللهم لك صمت وعلى رزقك أفطرت، فتقبل مني إنك أنت السميع العليم»، مؤكدًا أن الله يحب من عباده الإلحاح في الدعاء، وطلب كل ما يتمنونه، سواء في شؤون دينهم أو في نجاحهم وتفوقهم في حياتهم الدنيا.
