أعلن الدكتور محمد الجيلاني، أمين التنمية المحلية بحزب الإصلاح والنهضة، اصطفافه الكامل خلف الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي للحفاظ على مكتسبات ثورة 30 يونيو وحماية الأمن القومي، وذلك في إطار تأكيده على دعم الدولة المصرية والقيادة السياسية، مشددا على أهمية وحدة الصف الوطني في هذه المرحلة الدقيقة من عمر الوطن.
وأعرب الدكتور محمد الجيلاني عن سعادته بالانضمام إلى حزب الإصلاح والنهضة برئاسة الدكتور هشام مصطفى عبد العزيز، مؤكدا أن الحزب يشهد انتشارا وتنظيما قويا عقب مشاركته اللافتة في الانتخابات البرلمانية الأخيرة، فضلًا عن انضمام عدد كبير من الرموز الوطنية إلى صفوفه، ما يعكس مكانته كأحد الأحزاب الوطنية الداعمة للدولة المصرية ومؤسساتها.
وطالب أمين التنمية المحلية بحزب الإصلاح والنهضة مجلس النواب بضرورة فصل قانون الإدارة المحلية عن قانون المجالس الشعبية المحلية، بما يحقق التوافق مع المعايير الحقيقية للإدارة الرشيدة ويسهم في تطوير منظومة الحكم المحلي وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة بالمحافظات.
كما دعا الجيلاني الشباب إلى الاندماج الفعال في العملية السياسية، والالتفاف حول القيادة السياسية خلال هذه المرحلة المهمة، مؤكدا أن تمكين ودمج الشباب في العمل السياسي والحزبي يمثل خط الدفاع الأول للحفاظ على الأمن القومي، ومواجهة الشائعات والحملات المغرضة، في ظل التحديات الدولية والإقليمية الراهنة التي تتطلب وعيا وطنيا ومشاركة إيجابية من جميع فئات المجتمع.
