في ضوء توجيهات فخامة السيد رئيس الجمهورية بتكثيف الجهود لدعم مساعي خفض التصعيد في المنطقة والدفع بالحلول الدبلوماسية للملف النووي الإيراني واستئناف المفاوضات، أجرى د. بدر عبد العاطي وزير الخارجية والهجرة اتصالاً هاتفياً اليوم ٣٠ يونيو ٢٠٢٥ مع السيد “رافائيل جروسي” المدير العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية.
أعرب الوزير عبد العاطي خلال الاتصال عن دعم مصر الكامل للدور الهام الذي تضطلع به الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية في إطار نظام التحقق بموجب معاهدة منع انتشار النووى ونظامها الأساسي، مؤكدًا أن مصر تولي أهمية كبيرة للحفاظ على مصداقية المعاهدة كركيزة أساسية لنظام منع الانتشار النووي، معرباً عن التطلع لمواصلة التنسيق والتعاون مع الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية.
وشدد وزير الخارجية على أهمية تثبيت وقف إطلاق النار بين ايران واسرائيل، وتغليب الحلول الدبلوماسية في التعامل مع الملف النووي الإيراني، بما يسهم في تحقيق التهدئة وخفض التوترات وتحقيق الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي. وقد استمع وزير الخارجية لتقييم المدير العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية بشأن التطورات الراهنة ونتائج اتصالاته وسبل تحقيق التهدئة فى هذا الظرف الدقيق للتوصل لتسوية سياسية.
من جانبه، أشاد المدير العام بالدور المصري المحوري في دعم الامن والاستقرار الإقليمي، مثمناً الجهود التي تبذلها مصر لخفض التصعيد في المنطقة وتثبيت وقف إطلاق النار وبما يسمح باستئناف المفاوضات بين الجانبين. كما أشاد بنتائج الزيارة التي أجراها إلى القاهرة مطلع الشهر الجاري وأعرب عن بالغ تقديره لتشرفه بمقابلة فخامة السيد رئيس الجمهورية ودعم فخامته الراسخ للتوصل إلى تسوية سلمية للملف النووي الإيراني ودعم منظومة عدم الانتشار النووي وإنشاء منطقة خالية من الأسلحة النووية وغيرها من أسلحة الدمار الشامل في الشرق الأوسط.
