استقبل المهندس محمد شيمي، وزير قطاع الأعمال العام، بمقر الوزارة بالعاصمة الجديدة، الأستاذ الدكتور أسامة الأزهري، وزير الأوقاف، والوفد المرافق له، وذلك في إطار تعزيز التعاون بين الوزارتين، ودعم جهود الدولة الرامية إلى تعظيم الاستفادة من الأصول المملوكة، وتحقيق أقصى عائد اقتصادي وتنموي منها، بما يتماشى مع خطط التنمية الشاملة ورؤية مصر 2030.
وشهد اللقاء مناقشة عدد من ملفات التعاون المشترك، وفي مقدمتها سبل إحياء واستثمار بعض الأصول ذات القيمة التاريخية والاستثمارية، وتعظيم الاستفادة منها وفق أسس اقتصادية مستدامة، بما يسهم في دعم القطاعين السياحي والفندقي، وتعزيز دورهما في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني، مع الحفاظ على الطابع الحضاري والتاريخي لهذه الأصول.
ورحب المهندس محمد شيمي بوزير الأوقاف والوفد المرافق، مثمنًا مستوى التنسيق المستمر والبنّاء بين وزارتي قطاع الأعمال العام والأوقاف، ومؤكدًا الحرص المشترك على توسيع مجالات التعاون بما يخدم المصلحة الوطنية، ويتسق مع توجهات الدولة نحو حسن إدارة واستغلال أصولها.
وأوضح المهندس محمد شيمي أن شركات قطاع الأعمال العام تمتلك إمكانات وقدرات تصنيعية وإنتاجية وخدمية كبيرة، إلى جانب خبرات متراكمة تؤهلها لتنفيذ مشروعات مشتركة بكفاءة عالية، مؤكدًا استعداد الوزارة لتقديم كافة أوجه الدعم الفني والإداري، ووضع النماذج الاستثمارية المناسبة، بما يضمن نجاح مشروعات التعاون مع وزارة الأوقاف وتحقيق أقصى استفادة ممكنة من الأصول محل التعاون.
من جانبه، أعرب الأستاذ الدكتور أسامة الأزهري، وزير الأوقاف، عن سعادته بهذه الزيارة، مشيدًا بروح التعاون الجاد والصادق، والرغبة المشتركة في إحداث طفرة نوعية في مجالات العمل المشترك بين الوزارتين. وأكد أهمية التعاون في استثمار بعض أصول هيئة الأوقاف ذات الطابع التاريخي والحضاري، بما يحافظ على قيمتها الثقافية والإنسانية، ويحقق في الوقت ذاته عائدًا اقتصاديًا مستدامًا يسهم في دعم رسالة الأوقاف وخدمة المجتمع.
وأكد الجانبان، في ختام اللقاء، استمرار التنسيق والتشاور خلال الفترة المقبلة، ووضع آليات تنفيذية واضحة وجداول زمنية محددة لترجمة ما تم الاتفاق عليه إلى مشروعات ملموسة، تسهم في دعم خطط التنمية الشاملة، وتعزز الاستغلال الأمثل لأصول الدولة، بما يعود بالنفع على الاقتصاد الوطني والمجتمع ككل.
