أكد الدكتور خالد عبدالغفار، وزير الصحة والسكان، أن مستشفى شفاء الأورمان بمحافظة الأقصر يُعد نموذجًا وطنيًا رائدًا للشراكة الناجحة بين الدولة ومؤسسات المجتمع المدني في تقديم الرعاية الصحية، وتجسيدًا حقيقيًا لقدرة العمل الأهلي المؤسسي على دعم جهود الدولة في الارتقاء بالمنظومة الصحية وتحقيق العدالة الطبية، خاصة في محافظات الصعيد.
جاء ذلك خلال مشاركته في احتفالية مرور عشر سنوات على إنشاء وتشغيل مستشفيات شفاء الأورمان لعلاج الأورام بالمجان، بحضور وزيرة التضامن الاجتماعي الدكتورة مايا مرسي، ووزيرة التنمية المحلية الدكتورة منال عوض، ومحافظي القاهرة وأسوان، ورئيس البنك الأهلي المصري، وعدد من القيادات والشركاء والداعمين.
وأوضح الوزير أن المستشفى نجح خلال العقد الماضي في تقديم خدمات علاج الأورام بالمجان وفق أعلى معايير الجودة، مما ساهم في تخفيف الأعباء عن آلاف المرضى وأسرهم، وتقريب الخدمة المتخصصة من أبناء الصعيد، وتقليل مشقة السفر لتلقي العلاج.
وأشار الدكتور خالد عبدالغفار، إلى أن الدولة المصرية، بقيادة الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي، تضع بناء الإنسان على رأس أولوياتها من خلال استراتيجية متكاملة لتطوير القطاع الصحي، ترتكز على التوسع في الخدمات وتحقيق التغطية الصحية الشاملة وتوفير علاج عالي الجودة لجميع المواطنين.
وأثنى الوزير على دور جمعية الأورمان كشريك رئيسي في دعم القطاع الصحي، مشيدًا بالإدارة المؤسسية والحوكمة الرشيدة التي حولت العمل الخيري إلى مؤسسات مستدامة قادرة على تقديم خدمات متخصصة وفق أحدث المعايير الطبية.
وثمّن الدكتور خالد عبدالغفار، جهود الأطباء وأطقم التمريض والفنيين والإداريين والمتطوعين بالمستشفى، مؤكدًا أن ما تحقق يعكس الإخلاص والتفاني في خدمة المرضى، ويجسد قيم العطاء والمسؤولية المجتمعية.
وأكد الوزير استمرار الوزارة في تعزيز التعاون مع مؤسسات المجتمع المدني الجادة لتوسيع نطاق الخدمات الصحية، وتحقيق التكامل بين الشركاء، بما يسهم في بناء نظام صحي أكثر كفاءة واستدامة يضمن رعاية عادلة وعالية الجودة لكل المواطنين.
