وجاء تأهل هنا جودة إلى ربع النهائي بعد فوز ثمين على الفرنسية جيا نان يوان المصنفة رقم 24 عالميا بنتيجة 4-3 في عدد الأشواط، ضمن منافسات دور ال16 من كأس العالم للسيدات المقامة في ماكاو في الصين.
وبذلك تعد هنا جودة أول لاعبة مصرية وعربية وإفريقية تتأهل إلى ربع نهائي كأس العالم للسيدات لتنس الطاولة.
