خلال زيارته لمدينة بيرث الأسترالية، شهد المهندس كريم بدوي وزير البترول والثروة المعدنية توقيع خطاب نوايا بين هيئة الثروة المعدنية والصناعات التعدينية، ممثلةً في الجيولوجي ياسر رمضان رئيس الهيئة، وجامعة مردوخ الأسترالية ممثلةً في البروفيسير مارتن برويكنر نائب رئيس الجامعة وذلك في إطار نقل الخبرات المتقدمة للجامعة ومنطقة غرب أستراليا في مجال التعدين للجانب المصري من خلال برامج تدريبية متخصصة لتطوير القدرات العملية لكوادر التعدين المصرية.
وبموجب التوقيع ستُعقد برامج تدريب متقدمة مصممة خصيصاً لتلبية احتياجات الهيئة وبناء قدرات كوادرها البشرية، مثل “ورشة عمل التنظيم الاستراتيجي “، و”الحوكمة وعمليات التفتيش”، و”المعادن الحيوية وأنظمة الرواسب المتقدمة”، مع دراسة إمكانية تقديم برامج جديدة أو مكوناتها مستقبلاً عبر صيغ إلكترونية أو بنظام يجمع بين الحضور و التدريب الإلكترونى لزيادة فرص الوصول إليها، فضلاً عن أحقية الهيئة في إفادة الجامعات المصرية من جوانب هذا التعاون.
وعقب التوقيع، عقد الوزير لقاءً مع نائب رئيس الجامعة، أعرب خلاله عن سعادته باتفاق فرق العمل على الإطار العام، مؤكداً أن التوقيع جاء لدعم الهدف الإستراتيجي المتمثل في ضمان التنمية المسئولة والمستدامة لقطاع التعدين، من خلال تعزيز القدرة التنظيمية للهيئة، وتنفيذ برامج تفاعلية وعملية لبناء القدرات التطبيقية للكوادر المصرية من خلال التواصل المباشر والتعرف على افضل الممارسات فى المؤسسات التنظيمية ومواقع تعدين عالمية في غرب أستراليا.
وأكد الوزير على أهمية الاستفادة من خبرة غرب أستراليا التنظيمية المرموقة في الكفاءة والإشراف لرفع مستوى العمليات التعدينية وضمان أعلى معايير السلامة في قطاع التعدين المصري، وكذلك دعم الاستفادة من خبرة جامعة مردوخ المتخصصة في المعادن الحيوية اللازمة للطاقة المتجددة وعمليات الاستخلاص للمعادن، مضيفاً ان التوقيع اليوم هو أساس لشراكة طويلة المدى والتعاون فى برامج مستقبلية لتطوير القدرات البشرية في قطاع التعدين.
وفي ختام اللقاء، تم التأكيد على أن الخطوة التنفيذية المباشرة عقب توقيع الخطاب هي الانتهاء من الترتيبات لورشة عمل «التنظيم الإستراتيجي وحوكمة التعدين» التي تم الاتفاق عليها كأول البرامج، والجاهزية لتطوير برامج مشتركة جديدة في المستقبل القريب بما يخدم أهداف تطوير القدرات البشرية لكوادر القطاع.
