إستمراراً لجهود القوات المسلحة لترسيخ دعائم الإستقرار وحماية الوطن ضد كافة التهديدات وصون مكتسباته تقوم قوات حرس الحدود بالتعاون مع الأفرع الرئيسية والتشكيلات التعبوية للقوات المسلحة بتأمين الحدود البرية والساحلية على كافة الإتجاهات الإستراتيجية بالإعتماد على منظومة تأمين متكاملة ترتكز على الفرد المقاتل المحترف ومدعومة بأحدث نظم التسليح والمعدات وأجهزة الكشف و المراقبة المتطورة ووسائل الإتصال عالية الكفاءة إلى جانب مركبات الدفع الرباعى ولانشات المرور الساحلى القريب وأجهزة الفحص بإستخدام الإكس رى والكلاب الحربية المدربة على إكتشاف كافة المهربات .
قوات حرس الحدود تواصل جهودها المكثفة على كافة الإتجاهات الإستراتيجية للدولة
حيث أسفرت الجهود خلال الفترة الماضية عن ضبط (33) واقعة فى مجال الأسلحة والذخائر حيث تم ضبط عدد (96) قطعة سلاح مختلفة الأنواع وكمية من الذخائر تقدر بعدد (3600) ذخائر مختلفة الأنواع .
وفى مجال المواد المخدرة تم ضبط عدد (79) واقعة ضبط والتى أسفرت عن ضبط حوالى (351) طن من المواد المخدرة مختلفة الأنواع ، وحوالى ( 750) ألف قرص مخدر مختلف الأنواع و (5) طن من الهيدرو المطحون ، كما تم ضبط وتدمير عدد من مزارع المواد المخدرة .
وفى مجال ضبط البضائع غير خالصة الرسوم الجمركية تم ضبط عدد (168) واقعة وضبط ما يقرب من (50) طناً من المواد البترولية ، ومايزيد عن (500 ألف) قاروصة سجائر بالإضافة إلى كميات كبيرة من البضائع المتنوعة غير خالصة الرسوم الجمركية تقدر قيمتها بمليار جنيه .
وفى مجال التنقيب العشوائى عن خام الذهب تم ضبط (58) واقعة ، وضبط (20) جهاز كشف عن المعادن ، (200) هيلتى ، (118) ماكينة كهرباء وحوالى (86) طن أحجار مخلوطة بخام الذهب .
وفى مجال ضبط العربات تم ضبط (500) عربة مختلفة الأنواع ، كما تمكنت قوات حرس الحدود من ضبط وإحباط عدد (115) واقعة تسلل وهجرة غير شرعية وضبط عدد (99886) من جنسيات مختلفة على كافة الإتجاهات الإستراتيجية للدولة .
هذا وقدرت إجمالى القيمة المالية للمضبوطات بما يقرب من (40) مليار جنيه ، هذا وقد تم إحالة وقائع الضبط إلى جهات الإختصاص لإتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية حيالها .
تأتى تلك النجاحات تتويجاً للجهود المكثفة التى تنفذها قوات حرس الحدود على مدار الساعة لإحكام السيطرة الأمنية على كافة المنافذ والمعابر الحدودية على جميع الإتجاهات الإستراتيجية .
