في إطار حرصه على المتابعة الميدانية لمستوى الخدمات المقدمة للمواطنين، ومتابعة الوضع العام بالشارع السوهاجي، والتواصل المباشر مع المواطنين، أجرى اللواء دكتور عبد الفتاح سراج محافظ سوهاج، جولة مسائية مفاجئة بمركز ومدينة طهطا، رافقه خلالها أحمد الشطوري رئيس المركز.
وقد تفقد المحافظ خلال الجولة عددا من الشوارع الحيوية منها ” شارع نصر قبلي، وشارع بورسعيد الغربي، وشارع ميدان الثورة، وشارع الجيش، وشارع صلاح سالم المواجه لمستشفى طهطا العام”، و وجّه المحافظ بسرعة الانتهاء من أعمال توسعة ورفع كفاءة الجزيرة الوسطى بشارع النصر.
كما تفقد سوق النيابة الإدارية وهايبر ماركت للمنتجات الغذائية، واطمأن على استقرار الأسعار، موجها بتكثيف الرقابة على الأسواق، واستمع خلال الجولة إلى مطالب ومقترحات المواطنين، وقد بسرعة دراستها مع الجهات المعنية والاستجابة الفورية لها وتلبية احتياجات المواطنين
شملت جولة المحافظ كذلك زيارة مستشفى طهطا العام، حيث تفقد عددًا من الأقسام الطبية المختلفة “وحدة قسطرة القلب، والحضّانات، والعناية المركزة للكبار، والعناية المتوسطة للأطفال والباطنة، ووحدة الغسيل الكلوي، والاستقبال والطوارئ، والعيادات الخارجية”، وألتقى الاطقم والطبية وعددا من المواطنين المترددين على المستشفى، وأوصى بحجز حالتين طارئتين بقسم حضّانات الأطفال، وتم التعامل الفوري مع الحالتين وحجزهم لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة.
وتلاحظ للسيد المحافظ خلال الجولة وجود تكدس وزحام لمركبات “التوك توك”، ووجه على الفور إدارة المرور بتنظيم الحركة المرورية وضبط المركبات المخالفة، حفاظًا على السيولة المرورية المطلوبة وسلامة المواطنين، كما وجه برفع الإشغالات، وتحسين مستوى النظافة، ومراجعة تراخيص المحلات التجارية.
واختتم المحافظ جولته بتفقد المدخل البحري للمدينة، مشيدا بالجدارية المنفذة باستخدام الهوية البصرية المميزة للمحافظة، موجها بسرعة استكمال أعمال تطوير المدخل، مع مراعاة الجداول الزمنية للانتهاء من الأعمال وفقا للاشترطات والمعايير القياسية في التنفيذ.
وأكد المحافظ على استمرار الجولات الميدانية المفاجئة خلال الفترة المقبلة لمتابعة مستوى الخدمات والأداء الخدمي والرقابي على أرض الواقع، واتخاذ قرارات فورية لعودة الإنضباط للشارع وتحسين جودة الحياة للمواطنين.
