نظّم قسم الاقتصاد المنزلي بكلية التربية النوعية زيارة ميدانية إلى دار المسنين بسوهاج،
وذلك انطلاقًا من حرص الكلية على ترسيخ قيم العمل المجتمعي لدى الطلاب، وتعزيز روح المسؤولية والشعور بالآخر.
وأوضح الدكتور حسان النعماني رئيس الجامعة ان الجامعة تضع خدمة المجتمع في صميم رسالتها، وتسعى إلى تخريج جيل واعٍ يمتلك العلم والقيم معًا، مؤكدًا أن التواصل مع دور رعاية المسنين يعكس تقدير المجتمع لكبار السن واعترافه بدورهم وعطائهم عبر السنوات، وان هذه الزيارات تُجسّد المعنى الحقيقي للتعليم الشامل الذي يجمع بين المعرفة والإنسانية.
واضاف الدكتور خالد عمران نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة والمشرف على كلية التربية النوعية، ان الزيارة تمت تحت إشراف الدكتورة داليا هيكل، أستاذ علوم الأغذية المساعد، حيث تضمّن البرنامج جولة تعريفية داخل الدار، اطّلع خلالها الطلاب على أقسامها المختلفة، وتعرّفوا على النزلاء وشروط القبول والخدمات المقدمة لهم. كما شهدت الزيارة لقاءً إنسانيًا مميزًا جمع الطلاب بالنزلاء في أجواء سادها الحب والمودة، حيث تبادل الطرفان الأحاديث والذكريات والنصائح الحياتية، واستمع الطلاب إلى خبرات كبار السن وتجاربهم الشخصية والعملية.
واضافت الدكتورة داليا هيكل ان الطلاب حرصوا على إضفاء أجواء رمضانية مبهجة، فقدموا الورود والهدايا الرمزية والفوانيس احتفالًا بحلول شهر رمضان المبارك، في لفتة إنسانية أدخلت السرور إلى قلوب الجميع، مضيفه انه شارك بالزيارة الدكتورة حسناء عوض، المعيدة بقسم الاقتصاد المنزلي.
