تلقى الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، اليوم، إتصالاً هاتفياً من العماد جوزاف عون رئيس الجمهورية اللبنانية..
وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية بأن السيد الرئيس رحب خلال الاتصال بإعلان وقف إطلاق النار في لبنان، مشيداً بالجهود التي تقوم بها الدولة اللبنانية لبسط سلطة المؤسسات الوطنية على كامل ربوع لبنان، مثمناً المساعي الرامية لاستعادة الأمن والاستقرار واستدامة وقف إطلاق النار. واستعرض السيد الرئيس، في هذا الإطار، الجهود التي تقوم بها مصر لدعم لبنان، والنأي به عن التوترات والأزمات الإقليمية الراهنة، مشدداً على إدانة مصر الكاملة لأي اعتداء على أمن وسيادة لبنان ومقدرات شعبه الشقيق.
وأضاف السفير محمد الشناوي، المتحدث الرسمي، أن الرئيس جوزاف عون أعرب عن تقديره لموقف مصر الدائم في التضامن مع لبنان والوقوف إلى جانب الشعب اللبناني، شاكراً السيد الرئيس على حرصه الكبير على دعم لبنان، كما استعرض الرئيس اللبناني تطور المفاوضات المباشرة التي تجري برعاية أمريكية، مشدداً على موقف الدولة اللبنانية المتمسك بالتوصل لتسوية سلمية عادلة ومستدامة تحافظ على سيادة لبنان وأمن شعبه ووحدة وسلامة أراضيه.
وأشار المتحدث الرسمي إلى أن الرئيسين توافقا على تكثيف التواصل والتنسيق بين البلدين خلال الفترة المقبلة.
