نعى المهندس عمرو لاشين محافظ أسوان ، اللواء الدكتور محمد الشربيني ، مدير الإدارة العامة للحماية المدنية بالقاهرة، بعد إستشهاده متأثراً بالإصابات التي لحقت به أثناء أداء واجبه الوطنى ، ضاربًا مثالًا يحتذى به فى التفانى والإخلاص في خدمة وطنه وأداء عمله خلال إشرافه الميداني على عمليات إخماد حريق منشأة ناصر، الذي اندلع داخل ورشة أخشاب وامتد إلى عدد من العقارات المجاورة، وتسبب في انهيار أحد المباني على قوات الحماية المدنية خلال تنفيذ أعمال الإنقاذ.
وتقدم محافظ أسوان بخالص التعازى وصادق المواساة إلى الدكتور إبراهيم صابر محافظ القاهرة و أسرة الشهيد وزملائه فى العمل ، داعيًا المولى عز وجل أن يتغمده بواسع رحمته ومغفرته ، وأن يسكنه فسيح جناته ، وأن يلهم أهله وذويه الصبر والسلوان .
كما نعى محافظ أسوان شهداء الواجب من رجال الحماية المدنية الذين سطروا ملحمة جديدة من الفداء وهم ، النقيب عبد الرحمن العدوى الضابط بادارة الحماية المدنية، وأمين شرطة حمد عبد الجواد السيد صبرة بإدارة الحماية المدنية، وأحمد محمد محمود الموظف بوزارة الكهرباء والذين استشهدوا أثناء أداء واجبهم فى اطفاء الحريق.
