يعقد الاتحاد المصري للدارتس مؤتمرا صحفيا السبت المقبل للإعلان عن البطولات التي ينظمها الاتحاد خلال الفترة من 29 أكتوبر إلى 4 نوفمبر 2024 في مدينة شرم الشيخ وهي بطولة كأس أفريقيا الأولى وبطولة مصر الدولية الثالثة والبطولة العربية الثانية وتشهد البطولة حضور الدكتور أشرف صبحي وزير الشباب والرياضة واللواء خالد مبارك محافظ جنوب سيناء والوزير المفوض فيصل غسال مدير إدارة الشباب والرياضة بجامعة الدول العربية واللواء أحمد ناصر رئيس أتحاد الاتحادات الرياضية الافريقية (الأوكسا).
يقام على هامش البطولة اجتماع الجمعية العمومية للاتحاد العربي للدارتس لانتخاب مجلس إدارة جديد للسنوات الأربع المقبلة ويعقد الاتحاد الأفريقي للدارتس جمعيته العمومية لانتخاب مجلس إدارة يقود الاتحاد لولاية جديدة.
من جانبه قال الدكتور يحيى عبد القادر رئيس الاتحاد المصري للدارتس إن الاتحاد قرر إقامة بطولاته هذا العام في مدينة شرم الشيخ لمشاركة محافظة جنوب سيناء في احتفالاتها بنصر أكتوبر المجيد لاسيما وأن المحافظة تفتح زراعيها لاستضافة كافة الفاعليات بفضل جهود اللواء خالد مبارك محافظة جنوب سيناء الذي زلل كافة الصعاب من أجل إقامة هذه البطولات الكبرى التي تشهد حضور كبير من الدول العربية والأفريقية التي تمارس اللعبة.
قدم الدكتور يحيى عبد القادر الشكر إلى الدكتور أشرف صبحي وزير الشباب والرياضة لدعمه اللامحدود للاتحاد مما جعل الاتحاد ينفذ خطة أنشطته من خلال إقامة بطولاته المحلية والمشاركة في البطولات الدولية في الخارج.
وأكد رئيس الاتحاد أن إقامة النسخة الأولى من كأس أفريقيا للدارتس تعتبر مناسبة تاريخه لمصر والاتحاد الدولي للعبة كي تلحق أفريقيا بباقي قارات العالم الأعضاء بالاتحاد الدولي بعد تأخر دام 44 عام في إقامة كأس قاري.
أضاف أن البطولات التي تستضيفها شرم الشيخ يشارك بها 15 دولة واكثر من 200 لاعب ولاعبة ويتم الإشراف عليها بواسطة نائب رئيس الاتحاد الدولي ورئيس لجنة الشباب ديتمر شومان ، وتستند على لوائح الاتحاد الدولي أسوة بما يتم في كل الكؤوس القارية للاتحاد الدولي للدارتس.
أوضح ان بطولة كأس أفريقيا الأولى هي بمثابة بروفة حية لاستضافة مصر لكأس العالم بمدينة شرم الشيخ في عام 2027 التي تنوي الترشح لتنظيمها خلال بطولة كأس العالم المقبلة في كوريا الجنوبية 2025.
