كشفت تحريات رجال المباحث بمديرية أمن الجيزة، أن المتهم بالتسبب في مقتل ابنه داخل مسكنه بالهرم، أستاذ جامعي، ويحمل جنسية دولة عربية، واعترف عقب القبض عليه، أنه لم يقصد قتله
وذكر المتهم خلال اعترافاته أنه كان يضربه بهدف تأديبه، بسبب اعتداءه على شقيقته بالضرب، إلا أنه فوجئ بفقده الوعي، وحاول إنقاذه بنقله إلى المستشفى، إلا أنه فارق الحياة.
ورد بلاغ لمديرية أمن الجيزة، يفيد مصرع طفل داخل مسكنه في الهرم، انتقل رجال المباحث لمكان الحادث، وبإجراء التحريات تبين للمقدم مصطفى الدكر رئيس مباحث قسم شرطة الهرم، أن والد المجني عليه اعتدى عليه بالضرب، بواسطة سلك، مما أسفر عن مصرعه متأثرا بالإصابات التي لحقت به.
ألقى رجال المباحث القبض على المتهم، واعترف أنه لم يقصد قتله، وأنه كان يؤدبه بسبب ضربه شقيقته، فتحرر محضر بالواقعة، وتولت النيابة التحقيق.
