في رحلة استثنائية جمعت بين الفن والثقافة والعمل الخيري، سطّرت الفنانة هاجر حمدي (فتحية السيد) اسمها كواحدة من أبرز نجمات السينما المصرية في الأربعينيات، لم تكن مجرد راقصة أو ممثلة، بل كانت رمزًا للثقافة والوعي، تميزت بإتقانها لأربع لغات وشغفها العميق بالقراءة.
قدمت هاجر حمدي العديد من الأعمال التي لامست قلوب المشاهدين، وفي الوقت نفسه تركت بصمة خالدة في العمل المجتمعي عبر مشروعاتها الخيرية.
حياة هاجر حمدي كانت مليئة بالتحديات والنجاحات، فقد تجاوزت ظروفها الصعبة، وانطلقت لتكون فنانة ملهمة ومثقفة وفاضلة، أثرت في كل من حولها وألهمت أجيالًا عديدة.
وُلدت فتحية السيد، المعروفة فنيًا باسم “هاجر حمدي”، في مدينة طنطا عام 1924، وبعد وفاة والدها وزواج والدتها، قررت الهروب إلى القاهرة، حيث لجأت إلى صديقتها التي كانت تعمل في فرقة بديعة مصابني، بدأت حياتها الفنية كراقصة وكومبارس في الأفلام، إلى أن اكتشفها الفنان يوسف وهبي، لتبدأ رحلتها إلى الشهرة.
تميزت هاجر حمدي بثقافتها العالية وشغفها الشديد بالقراءة، حتى أصبحت واحدة من الفنانات المثقفات القلائل في جيلها، حيث أتقنت 4 لغات وقرأت ما يزيد على ألف كتاب، كانت قادرة على إدارة جلسات ثقافية ونقاشات مع كبار الشخصيات، وهي ميزة نادرة في مجالها آنذاك.
لمعت هاجر حمدي في السينما المصرية خلال الأربعينيات كنجمة إغراء، وشاركت في أكثر من 60 فيلمًا، ومن أبرز أعمالها فيلمي “على قد لحافك” و”المعلم بلبل” اللذين جمعاها بالفنان كمال الشناوي، والذي تزوجته وأنجبت منه ابنها المخرج الشهير محمد الشناوي.
اعتزلت هاجر حمدي التمثيل في أوائل الخمسينيات، لكنها عادت لاحقًا، قبل أن تبتعد مرة أخرى وتتجه إلى الأعمال الحرة.
أسست هاجر حمدي مركزًا إسلاميًا كبيرًا يضم مستشفى ومدرسة ودارًا لرعاية الأيتام والمسنين ومدرسة للمكفوفين، مساهمةً في العمل الخيري وخدمة المجتمع.
رحلت الفنانة هاجر حمدي عن عالمنا في عام 2008، عن عمر ناهز 84 عامًا، تاركةً وراءها إرثًا من الثقافة والفن والعمل الخيري.
