وشهدت الزيارة عقد سلسلة من المباحثات الموسعة التي تناولت سبل تعزيز التعاون الاستراتيجي بين جمهورية مصر العربية وجمهورية جيبوتي في قطاع الدواء، انطلاقًا من العلاقات التاريخية والأخوية التي تجمع البلدين الشقيقين، وحرصهما المشترك على دعم التنمية المستدامة وتعزيز الأمن الصحي في القارة الإفريقية.
وخلال الزيارة، استعرضت مدينة الدواء المصرية “چبتو فارما” قدراتها التصنيعية المتقدمة وإمكاناتها الإنتاجية المتكاملة في مجال تصنيع المستحضرات الدوائية وفق أحدث معايير الجودة العالمية وممارسات التصنيع الجيد (GMP).
كما ناقش الجانبان احتياجات السوق الجيبوتي وأسواق شرق إفريقيا من المستحضرات الدوائية ذات الأولوية، تمهيدًا لبدء إجراءات التسجيل والتوريد المباشر لعدد من المنتجات الدوائية المصرية عالية الجودة، بما يسهم في تلبية الاحتياجات الصحية المتنامية لهذه الأسواق.
وتطرقت المباحثات كذلك إلى آليات الانتقال التدريجي من نموذج التصدير المباشر إلى نموذج أكثر تكاملًا يقوم على توطين بعض مراحل التصنيع الدوائي، من خلال الاستفادة من المركز اللوجستي والصناعي التابع لمجموعة باشا في جمهورية جيبوتي، بما يدعم سلاسل الإمداد الدوائية ويعزز فرص التكامل الصناعي بين الجانبين.

وفي ختام الزيارة، تُوجت المباحثات بالتوقيع الرسمي على مذكرة تفاهم لإطار التعاون المشترك بين مدينة الدواء المصرية “چبتو فارما” ومجموعة باشا الجيبوتية، بما يؤسس لشراكة استراتيجية طويلة الأمد تستهدف دعم الأمن الدوائي وتعزيز التعاون الصناعي والتجاري بين الجانبين.
