أُغلق نهائيًا ملف النزاع التجاري القائم منذ عام 2021 حول قيمة بيع أسهم شركة ديزني بيتش للاستثمارات السياحية، المالك السابق لمشروع قرية ديزني بيتش بمنطقة سيدي حنيش بالساحل الشمالي، بعد التوصل إلى تصالح بين رجل الأعمال عمرو عطا وعدد من ملاك الأسهم السابقين للشركة.
وبموجب التصالح، سدد عطا مبلغ 126 مليون جنيه، لينتهي بذلك النزاع دون أي اتهامات أو إجراءات جنائية بحقه.
وكان قد صدر قرار بضم أرض المشروع إلى صفقة رأس الحكمة مع دولة الإمارات، والتي وُقّع مؤخرًا عقد تطويرها بين شركتي بالم هيلز مصر ومدن الإماراتية.
