حصل مجلس إدارة بنك أبوظبي الأول مصر على موافقة البنك المركزي المصري لتعيين أحمد عيسى رئيسًا تنفيذيًا للبنك، خلفًا لـ محمد عباس فايد. ومن المقرر أن يتولى عيسى مهام منصبه رسميًا اعتبارًا من يوم الثلاثاء المقبل.
ويتمتع أحمد عيسى طه أبو حسين بخبرة مصرفية تمتد لنحو 30 عامًا في البنوك التجارية وبنوك الاستثمار.
وشغل مؤخرًا منصب نائب الرئيس التنفيذي في بنك مصر، كما كان عضوًا بمجلس إدارة سي آي كابيتال القابضة للاستثمارات المالية.
ووفقًا لسيرته المهنية، تولى عيسى منصب رئيس مجلس الإدارة غير التنفيذي لشركة سي آي كابيتال ممثلاً لبنك مصر منذ أكتوبر 2024.
كما شغل منصب وزير السياحة والآثار في مصر خلال الفترة من أغسطس 2022 حتى يوليو 2024.
بدأ عيسى مسيرته المهنية عام 1993 في البنك التجاري الدولي، حيث عمل في قطاع ائتمان الشركات حتى عام 2001، قبل أن يتقلد عدة مناصب قيادية بارزة، من بينها الرئيس التنفيذي لنشاط التجزئة المصرفية، وأول رئيس للتخطيط الاستراتيجي، ورئيس مجموعة المؤسسات المالية، إلى جانب رئاسته للقطاع المالي بالبنك وشركاته التابعة.
كما تولى عيسى رئاسة إدارة البحوث في شركة البنك التجاري الدولي للسمسرة، وشغل منصب العضو المنتدب لشركة البنك التجاري الدولي لخدمات الاستثمار البنكي (سي آي كابيتال). وتضمنت مسيرته أيضًا رئاسة مجلس إدارة كوربليس ومجموعة شركات فالكون جروب.
وعلى الصعيد الأكاديمي، حصل أحمد عيسى على بكالوريوس تجارة (محاسبة) من جامعة عين شمس، وماجستير إدارة الأعمال مع تخصص في تمويل المؤسسات من جامعة كارولينا الشمالية في تشابل هيل، كما أتم برامج تدريبية متقدمة في مؤسسات دولية مرموقة، من بينها معهد هارفارد للتنمية الدولية وجامعة لندن.
