في إطار توجيهات القيادة السياسية واستمرارًا للدور المصري الريادي في دعم الأشقاء الفلسطينيين، أعلنت وزارة التموين والتجارة الداخلية ممثلة في اللجنة العامة للمساعدات الأجنبية عن إطلاق القافلة رقم (15) من المساعدات الإغاثية العاجلة إلى قطاع غزة، وذلك بالتعاون مع هيئة الإغاثة الكاثوليكية، اليوم الأحد الموافق 21 ديسمبر.
وتُعد القافلة رقم “15” امتدادًا لسلسلة القوافل الإغاثية المصرية التي أطلقتها لجنة المساعدات الأجنبية منذ اندلاع الأزمة، وتضم القافلة مساعدات إغاثية عاجلة تشمل عدد 12 ألف مرتبة، و16 ألفًا و300 بطانية، و4 آلاف حصيرة، بإجمالي وزن بلغ نحو 136 طنًا، وذلك مراعاة للوضع الإنساني داخل القطاع، ولتلبية الاحتياجات الأساسية للأشقاء في غزة والمساهمة في التخفيف من معاناتهم جراء الأوضاع الإنسانية الصعبة.
وأكد الدكتور شريف فاروق وزير التموين والتجارة الداخلية، أن الوزارة ممثلة في اللجنة العامة للمساعدات الأجنبية، تحرص على تكثيف التعاون مع المنظمات الدولية لضمان وصول المساعدات في أسرع وقت ممكن، مشيرًا إلى أن إطلاق القافلة الجديدة يأتي استكمالًا لسلسلة القوافل التي أطلقتها الوزارة منذ اندلاع الأزمة.
وأوضح الوزير أن الوزارة أطلقت 15 قافلة إغاثية حتى الآن بالتعاون مع هيئة الإغاثة الكاثوليكية، تضمنت إجمالي نحو 1766 طنًا من المساعدات الإنسانية تم نقلها عبر 255 شاحنة وخمس طائرات، شملت خيامًا وبطاطين ومراتب وحُصرًا ومستلزمات النظافة العامة والشخصية ومستلزمات معيشية أساسية، في إطار الجهود المصرية المستمرة لدعم الشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق.
وأكد الدكتور شريف فاروق أن مصر ستواصل تقديم كافة أشكال الدعم الإنساني للأشقاء الفلسطينيين، مشددًا على أن الوزارة مستمرة في تسيير المزيد من القوافل بالتنسيق مع الجهات المعنية، بما يضمن استمرار تدفق المساعدات وتخفيف معاناة المواطنين داخل القطاع.
من جانبه، أوضح السيد أحمد فتحي نائب رئيس مجلس إدارة اللجنة العامة للمساعدات الأجنبية، أن القافلة الحالية تأتي امتدادًا لجهود اللجنة في تقديم الدعم اللازم بشكل متواصل وتكثيف التعاون مع الجهات المانحة، موضحًا أن محتويات القافلة تم تجهيزها بعناية لتلبية الاحتياجات اليومية للأشقاء في القطاع في ظل الظروف الإنسانية الراهنة.
وأكد نائب رئيس مجلس إدارة اللجنة العامة للمساعدات الأجنبية أنه بالتعاون مع هيئة الإغاثة الكاثوليكية ومكتبها في غزة، يتم تحديد الاحتياجات الفعلية من المساعدات الإغاثية العاجلة، تمهيدًا لتجهيز وإطلاق القوافل القادمة بما يضمن توجيه المساعدات بصورة دقيقة تلبي أولويات واحتياجات الأشقاء في قطاع غزة.
