كتبت/ سحرعبدالفتاح
روجيه جارودي (Roger Garaudy) كان مفكرًا وفيلسوفًا فرنسيًا بارزًا، وُلد في ١٧ يوليو ١٩١٣ وتوفي في ١٣ يونيو ٢٠١٢. عُرف بمسيرته الفكرية الغنية والمتقلبة، حيث مرّ بعدة تحولات أيديولوجية ودينية جعلته من الشخصيات المثيرة للجدل في القرن العشرين.
بدأ حياته الفكرية والسياسية كعضو بارز في الحزب الشيوعي الفرنسي، وكان أحد منظّريه الثقافيين المهمين. دافع عن الماركسية في كتابات كثيرة، ولكنه اختلف لاحقًا مع الحزب بسبب ما رآه من تحجر أيديولوجي.
طُرد من الحزب الشيوعي عام ١٩٧٠ بعد انتقاداته اللاذعة للاتحاد السوفييتي، خاصة اجتياحه لتشيكوسلوفاكيا في ١٩٦٨. بدأ بعد ذلك بالبحث عن أبعاد روحية وأخلاقية أوسع من المادية التاريخية.
أعلن جارودي إسلامه، في عام ١٩٨٢ واتخذ اسم “رجاء جارودي”. كانت رؤيته للإسلام فلسفية وروحية، واعتبره دينًا يحمل قيمًا إنسانية وتحررية عميقة. لم يكن إسلامه مجرد تحوّل عقائدي، بل مثّل محطة في تطوره الفكري نحو نقد الحضارة الغربية.
من مؤلفاته: “الإسلام يسكن مستقبلنا” (١٩٨١) ناقش فيه كيف أن الإسلام يحتوي على قيم يمكن أن تشكل بديلاً إنسانيًا وأخلاقيًا عن النزعة المادية الغربية.
“الإرهاب الغربي” أنتقد فيه الاستعمار والإمبريالية الغربية ويُسلّط الضوء على العنف الممنهج الذي مارسته أوروبا وأمريكا ضد شعوب العالم الثالث.
“الأساطير المؤسسة للسياسة الإسرائيلية” (١٩٩٦)
أثار هذا الكتاب جدلاً عالميًا، إذ شكك جارودي في بعض “الروايات الرسمية” حول المحرقة اليهودية (الهولوكوست). أدى ذلك إلى محاكمته في فرنسا بتهمة إنكار المحرقة.
تمت محاكمة جارودي في عام ١٩٩٨، وأدين بتهمة “التشكيك في الجرائم ضد الإنسانية” بسبب كتابه عن الصهيونية والهولوكوست. أثارت محاكمته نقاشًا واسعًا حول حرية التعبير وحدودها في أوروبا.
أنتقد الحضارة الغربية ورأى أن الحضارة الغربية تعاني من أزمة روحية وأخلاقية بسبب سيطرة النزعة المادية، ودعي إلى حوار الحضارات، ودعا إلى التفاهم بين الأديان والثقافات، واعتبر الإسلام جسرًا للحوار العالمي، كان يسعى دائمًا إلى تجاوز الانتماءات الضيقة (القومية، الدينية، الأيديولوجية) لصالح مشروع إنساني شامل، ترك خلفه إرثًا فكريًا غنيًا، وإن كان مثيرًا للجدل، إلا أنه يعكس سيرة مفكر لم يكفّ عن إعادة النظر في أفكاره حتى آخر لحظة من حياته.
