أكد الدكتور إسلام عزام، رئيس الهيئة العامة للرقابة المالية، سعي الهيئة لتطوير قطاع الوساطة في التأمين وإعادة التأمين في إطار خططها للنهوض بمجال التأمين في مصر بوجه عام لرفع نسبة انتشار التأمين، وتعظيم إسهامه في الاقتصاد الوطني وتعزيز جاذبيته للاستثمارات، فضلًا عن تحسين جودة الخدمات والمنتجات المقدمة للمواطنين.
جاء ذلك خلال لقاء موسع عقده رئيس الهيئة مع ممثلي جميع شركات وساطة التأمين وإعادة التأمين، بحضور الدكتور أحمد عبدالعزيز، نائب رئيس الهيئة، والسيد حمدي بدوي، مساعد رئيس الهيئة، وعدد من قياداتها ومسئولي الإدارات المعنية.
وأوضح الدكتور إسلام عزام أن الاجتماع مع وسطاء التأمين وإعادة التأمين يعبر عن النهج الدائم للهيئة في ترسيخ الحوار المجتمعي، وحرصها على التواصل المستمر مع جميع أطراف القطاعات الخاضعة لرقابتها، ومناقشة مقترحات تطوير السوق وبناء القدرات ورفع الكفاءة.
وتقدم الحضور بعدد من المقترحات والملاحظات التي وعد رئيس الهيئة بدراستها واتخاذ اللازم بشأنها على ضوء الالتزامات القانونية والأطر التنظيمية، مع مراعاة احتياجات السوق وظروفه.
