واستهلت الجولة بافتتاح معمل القياس والتقويم، حيث استمع رئيس الجامعة إلى شرح تفصيلي حول إمكانات المعمل وأحدث الأجهزة والبرمجيات المستخدمة في إعداد بنوك الأسئلة وتصحيح الاختبارات إلكترونيًا، بما يواكب معايير الجودة والاعتماد الأكاديمي، ويدعم توجه الدولة نحو التحول الرقمي، ويسهم في تحقيق العدالة والشفافية في نظم التقييم.
كما شملت الجولة تفقد معرض الشركات المقام على هامش الملتقى التوظيفي، حيث حرص كلا من رئيس الجامعة والنائب على زيارة أجنحة الشركات المشاركة، والتعرف على مجالات عملها، وفرص التدريب والتوظيف التي تتيحها لطلاب وخريجي الكلية، مؤكدًا أهمية التكامل بين الدراسة الأكاديمية ومتطلبات سوق العمل، وتعزيز قنوات التواصل المباشر بين الطلاب وممثلي القطاعات الإنتاجية المختلفة.
وامتدت الجولة لتشمل زيارة صوب الكلية والمعامل التطبيقية، حيث تم استعراض الإمكانات المتطورة في مجالات الإنتاج النباتي والحيواني، والتصنيع الغذائي، والتكنولوجيا الزراعية الحديثة، إضافة إلى تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في الزراعة، التي تسهم في رفع كفاءة الإنتاج وتحقيق الاستدامة.
وأشاد كلا من رئيس الجامعة ونائب رئيس الجامعة بما تشهده الكلية من تطوير مستمر في بنيتها التحتية وتجهيزاتها البحثية، مؤكدًا دعم إدارة الجامعة الكامل لكل ما من شأنه الارتقاء بالمستوى العلمي والتطبيقي، وإعداد خريج مؤهل يمتلك المهارات والمعارف اللازمة للمنافسة في سوق العمل محليًا وإقليميًا.
وشهدت الجولة كذلك تفقد مناحل الكلية، التي تعد من الوحدات التعليمية والتطبيقية المتميزة بكلية الزراعة بجامعة عين شمس، وتم الاطلاع علي آليات تربية نحل العسل وإنتاج العسل ومنتجاته المختلفة وفقًا لأحدث الأساليب العلمية ، وإتاحة تدريب الطلاب عمليًا على تقنيات إدارة المناحل، وتحسين السلالات، ومكافحة الآفات، بما يسهم في دعم البحث العلمي وخدمة المجتمع، وتعزيز مفاهيم الزراعة المستدامة والأمن الغذائي، فضلًا عن إتاحة فرص لإقامة مشروعات صغيرة ومتوسطة قائمة على أسس علمية حديثة.
