استقبل الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، اليوم بمدينة العلمين، السيد عبد الحميد الدبيبة، رئيس حكومة الوحدة الوطنية بدولة ليبيا، وذلك بحضور الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي، رئيس مجلس الوزراء، والدكتور بدر عبد العاطي، وزير الخارجية والتعاون الدولى والمصريين بالخارج، والوزير حسن رشاد، رئيس المخابرات العامة، ومن الجانب الليبي؛ السيد إبراهيم الدبيبة، مستشار الأمن القومى، والسيد وليد اللافى، وزير الدولة للاتصال والشئون السياسية.
وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية بأن السيد الرئيس رحب بزيارة رئيس حكومة الوحدة الوطنية الليبية إلى مصر، مؤكدًا سيادته على الروابط التاريخية والأخوية التي تجمع بين مصر وليبيا، ومشددًا على ضرورة تكثيف العمل من أجل تعزيز هذه العلاقات في مختلف المجالات بما يحقق مصالح الشعبين الشقيقين، ويدفع ما يربطهما من علاقات وأواصر تعاون ممتدة منذ سنوات.
وأشار السفير محمد الشناوي، المتحدث الرسمي، إلى أن السيد الرئيس أكد أن مصر كانت دائمًا حريصة على استقرار وازدهار ليبيا الشقيقة، وأنها أولت اهتمامًا كبيرًا بدعم السلم والاستقرار في ليبيا وضمان وحدة وسلامة أراضيها. كما تطرق السيد الرئيس إلى أهمية تعزيز التعاون المشترك بين البلدين في المجالات التي تحظى بفرص واعدة، وبالأخص في مجالات الكهرباء، والطاقة، والبنية التحتية، وإعادة الإعمار، فضلًا عن العمل على زيادة حجم التعاون التجاري والاستثماري بين البلدين.
وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي أن رئيس حكومة الوحدة الوطنية الليبية أعرب بدوره عن تقديره لزيارة مصر ولقاء السيد الرئيس، مؤكدًا محورية العلاقات التي تجمع بين مصر وليبيا، ومشيرًا أيضًا إلى أهمية مواصلة العمل على الارتقاء بهذه العلاقات في كافة المجالات ذات الأولوية، بما يحقق التنمية والازدهار في البلدين الشقيقين. وفي ذات الإطار، ثمن رئيس حكومة الوحدة الوطنية الليبية موقف مصر الداعم لأمن واستقرار ليبيا، مؤكدًا أن ذلك يعكس عمق الروابط التاريخية بين البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين.
وذكر المتحدث الرسمي أن اللقاء تطرق أيضًا لمستجدات القضايا الإقليمية والدولية، حيث بحث الجانبان فرص التنسيق المشترك من أجل الحفاظ على السلم والاستقرار الإقليمي، وتم التأكيد في هذا السياق على أهمية تسوية مختلف النزاعات التي تشهدها المنطقة عبر الحوار والوسائل السلمية تحقيقًا للسلم الإقليمي. وفي هذا الصدد، تم التوافق على تكثيف التشاور والتنسيق القائمين بين البلدين من أجل مواجهة التحديات المشتركة.
