تزامنًا مع اليوم العالمي للسمع، تنظم وحدة طب السمع والإتزان بكلية الطب جامعة عين شمس _قسم الأنف والأذن والحنجرة ، عضو منتدى السمع العالمي التابع لمنظمة الصحة العالمية، احتفالية توعوية حول أهمية الحفاظ على حاسة السمع، وذلك في إطار الفعاليات السنوية التي تُقام خلال شهر مارس.
تقام الاحتفالية تحت رعاية أ.د محمد ضياء زين العابدين، رئيس جامعة عين شمس، أ.د علي الأنور عميد كلية الطب ، أ.د طارق يوسف ، المدير التنفيذي للمستشفيات ، أ.د. هشام أنور، مدير مستشفى عين شمس التخصصي، وأ.د هشام طه، رئيس وحدة السمع والاتزان بجامعة عين شمس، تحت شعار “أحمي سمعك.. اهتم بنفسك”، وذلك على المسرح الرئيسي بمستشفى عين شمس التخصصي، يوم الإثنين 24 فبراير الجاري الساعة ١٠ صباحًا.
تهتم الإحتفالية بتوضيح المفاهيم الأساسية للحفاظ على السمع، بالإضافة إلى تسليط الضوء على الخدمات المتاحة لدعم ضعاف السمع ومساعدتهم على الاندماج في المجتمع وتحقيق حياة متوازنة.
كما تتضمن فعاليات اليوم تقديم خدمة قياس السمع السريع للراغبين، في إطار الحرص على تعزيز الوعي بالصحة السمعية وضمان سلامة السمع لدى الجميع.
