في ختام الزيارة الرسمية التي قام بها وفد البرلمان العربي برئاسة معالي محمد بن أحمد اليماحي إلى العاصمة الأذرية باكو، قام وفد البرلمان بزيارة إلى مركز حيدر علييف الثقافي، أحد أبرز المعالم الحضارية والثقافية في جمهورية أذربيجان، والذي يُعد تحفة معمارية فريدة صممتها المهندسة المعمارية العراقية العالمية زها حديد، ويتميز بتصميمه الانسيابي الحديث الذي يعكس روح الإبداع والتطور في البلاد.
وخلال الزيارة، اطلع الوفد على ما يضمه المركز من قاعات ومعارض دائمة ومؤقتة تسلط الضوء على تاريخ أذربيجان وحضارتها العريقة، إضافة إلى إنجازات الدولة الحديثة في مختلف المجالات الثقافية والعلمية والاقتصادية. كما تعرف الوفد على المعروضات التي تجسد الإرث الوطني للرئيس الراحل حيدر علييف ودوره في بناء الدولة الأذرية الحديثة.
واستمع الوفد إلى شرح مفصل من القائمين على المركز حول رسالته في تعزيز الحوار الثقافي والانفتاح على مختلف شعوب العالم، ودوره في احتضان الفعاليات الدولية والمعارض الفنية والمؤتمرات التي تسهم في مد جسور التعاون الثقافي بين أذربيجان ومحيطها الإقليمي والدولي.
وأعرب وفد البرلمان العربي عن تقديره لما شهده من تطور حضاري وثقافي يعكس رؤية أذربيجان في الاستثمار بالثقافة كجسر للتواصل بين الشعوب، مؤكدين أهمية تعزيز التعاون البرلماني والثقافي بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة ويدعم أواصر الصداقة بين الجانبين.
Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
